Cody Filliater Obituary

I met Cody when I was 10 years old and since they day his family moved across the street him and my brother were inseparable it was a great pleasure to have known Cody 20 + years of my life I was even more thankful to attend a concert with Cody last September where together we crossed a bucket list by seeing both of our favorite band I could go on all day of the many great memories growing up being able to work with him at whirlpool and the continued memories through my adult life Cody has been apart of many mile stones and was a huge impact on what it's like to not biologically have a brother but he chose to be my brother by heart thank you so much to Bobbi for raising such a incredible man and ty so much for allowing me to be apart if his life for over a decade he will be greatly missed and loved by myself jake and my kids Cody always treated them as if they were his own neices and nephew I remember when I found out I was finally having a son and he had told me it was about time after 4 times that we finally got our boy I remeber the day Cody found out he was going to be a dad again and the joy and smile he had on his face was one he well deserved I remeber being apart of his wedding day I've seen many relationships Cody has been in but not one comes close to the day he told us about haylee he knew from that moment he would spend forever with her and hearing him say the day of his wedding that he can't wait to marry his best freind and watching the tears stroll down his face as he watched haylee walk down that aisle to the moment he got down on his knee and asked kinley is he could marry her mom was one of the most precious moments I will forever cherish ty Cody for always being there we love you dearly and always will and may you rest peacefully you will greatly be missed

Cody was an awesome person. I had the pleasure of coaching him in many youth sports one with his father Chuck. His Mom is an excellent friend of the family and will always be. Our families were great friends and are sorry we can not be there for this tragedy.

We met Cody when he was just 12 and he was like a Son to us we can't express the sadness

Cody and his dad were both gentle giants. Played football with his dad and watched Cody grow up to through school, reminding me he was so much like his dad. Rest in peace Cody at the big stadium in heaven!

I have such fond memories from having Cody in my 2nd grade class. Prayers of comfort to all the family .
