Donald K. Davis

Donald K. Davis, 84, of Tiffin, passed away at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital Emergency Room.

He was born April 13, 1941, in Carrollton, Missouri, to Ralph and Dorothy (Brooks) Davis. He married Marilyn J. Krause, August 1, 1964, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Tiffin, and she survives.

Other survivors include a son, William D. "Bill" (Erin) Davis of Cape Coral, Florida; two brothers, Edward Davis of Port Clinton and Steven (Marie) Davis of Stuart, Florida; and a sister, Karen (Mark) Heisa of Rootstown. His legacy continues through his two grandchildren, Dreydon and Paxton Davis; three stepgrandchildren, Ty Slemmer, Braelynn Dunifon, and Tyler Dodge; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren, Willow, Barrett, Delaney, Paisley, Barrett, Sadie and Michael.

A 1959 graduate of Columbian High School, Donald was a retired entrepreneur. He was the former owner of Log Cabin Restaurant in Bayview, M&R Bar, and had previously worked as a foreman at General Electric for 25 years. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Chaplain Ben Sandrock officiating.
