Beth (Gaietto) Rossi

Beth Anne Rossi (Gaietto), 66, of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, formerly of Lorton, Virginia, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026.

She was born June 2, 1959, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Thomas and Mary Gaietto. She graduated from Calvert Catholic School, where she was awarded the Bishop's Cross. Following graduation, Beth moved to Washington, D.C., to begin a distinguished career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Over more than 36 years, she served in numerous roles, beginning as a fingerprinter and tour guide and ultimately rising to Unit Chief within the FBI's Cyber and Forensic Bureau.

It was at the FBI where she met her husband of over 44 years, Mike. Beth was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who went above and beyond every day for her family. A proud O-H-I-O native, she especially cherished time with her grandsons, whom she cared for deeply. Creating games and crafts, building forts, and sharing countless moments that will remain treasured memories.

She will be remembered for her endless love, kindness, and thoughtfulness.

Beth was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Gaietto; her father-in-law, Pio Rossi; her mother-in-law, Helen Rossi; and her brother-in-law, Ronald Rossi.

Beth is survived by her husband, Michael Rossi; her son, Anthony Rossi; her daughter, Christina (Chad) Burrow; her grandsons, Greyson and Aiden Burrow; and her mother, Mary Gaietto. She is also survived by her eight siblings: Mary Pat (Rob) Morris, Theresa Heyman, Joan (Thomas) Brundage, Jennifer (Curtland) Smith, Amy (Sydney) Smith, Timothy (Jennifer) Gaietto, Nicholas (Sharon) Gaietto, and Rebecca Milan. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Carol Rossi Post, Janice Blumer, Mary (Nicholas) Blumer, and Linda Rossi, as well as fourteen nieces, thirteen nephews, thirteen great-nieces, and seventeen great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. for family and 5-7 p.m. for friends and guests Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032.

Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Nativity Catholic Church, 6400 Nativity Lane, Burke, VA 22015, followed by interment at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032.
