Caroline Ann "Carrie" Kramb

Caroline Ann "Carrie" Kramb, 87, of Fostoria, passed away at 8:57 pm Monday June 20, 2022 at Paramount Senior Living at Polaris, Westerville. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Carrie was born August 27, 1934 in Seneca County to the late Howard and Viva (Miller) George. She married Thomas J. Kramb June 2, 1956 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tiffin and he preceded her in death March 2, 2019.

Surviving are children, Cheryl Ann Kramb, Columbus, David Allen (Trish) Kramb, Findlay and Charles Howard (Amy) Kramb, West Chester; grandchildren, Jessica (Wes) Sharp, Michael (Alan Schmidt) Kramb, Christopher Kramb and Jacob Kramb; great-grandchildren, Raegen and Asher Sharp; sister, Sandra Kinkle, Lima; and"adopted" children, Kevin (Debbie) Daly, Powell. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Sue Kramb; sister, Phyllis Valentine; and brothers, Charles and Dr. Alan George.

Carrie was a 1952 graduate of Scipio Republic High School and was class valedictorian. She was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, its Rosary Altar Society and co-chair of the funeral lunch committee. She worked 26 years at St. Wendelin's High School. Carrie and Tom loved family time; especially family trips to Lake Erie, Winter Haven FL and of course her beloved Smoky Mountains. She would share her recipes with her grandkids and ask them how the meal turned out. You would find her in many different cities, towns and states following her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sporting events. Carrie was most fortunate to be treated for many years by Dr, Kami Maddocks at The James Cancer Hospital, who she described as an angel and a friend.

Visitation is Friday June 24, 2022 from 4-7 pm at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, OH 44830 with a Vigil at 7 pm led by Deacon Paul Feasel.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Saturday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church. Committal service and burial will follow in St. Wendelin Cemetery.
