Patricia Henke Obituary

Patricia Ann "Trish" Henke, 80, a longtime resident of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully January 12, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved wife of the late Richard C. "Dick" Henke; loving mother of Debbie (Brad) Green and Denise Henke; adored grandmother of Maddie and Ryan; devoted daughter of the late Francis and Mary Condon; cherished sister of Mary Kay (Ralph) Genco and Dolores Kuclo, dear aunt of many and friend to all. Trish was born on January 4, 1943, in Detroit, MI and raised in Fairview, OH. She was a proud graduate of Magnificat High School in Rocky River, OH class of 1960. Trish's world revolved around helping others, her faith, her girls, and her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed playing games and traveling with her grandchildren. Trish was a devoted member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Naperville since 1980. She served as St. Margaret Mary's bookkeeper for over 30 years, before retiring in 2021. Trish generously shared her time and talents on many church committees as well as with DuPage Pads. Trish will be missed greatly and remembered for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others. Her family will miss her cakes, frosting, Jell-O salads and her famous "Nana's chicken" & potato casseroles. She was known to have a sweet tooth too. She had many talents and interests including knitting, cross stitching, reading, and playing canasta with friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 16, 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1450 Green Trails Dr., Naperville. Interment will be private.
