Moneak Ann (Silverwood) Kopp

Moneak Ann (Silverwood) Kopp, 57, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday afternoon, Aug. 18, 2022, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

She was born Sept. 21, 1964, in Port Clinton, to the late James Arthur and Carolyn Ann (Warren) Silverwood. She was married to Wilbur John Kopp Jr. for 35 years and he survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are daughters, Novinna Ann Silverwood of Bellevue, Jolean Renea Kopp of Fostoria, Cristina Jean (Colton) Shammo of Girton, and Caroline Nichole Kopp of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Abygale, Donavin, and Annabel; great-grandson, Aiden; brothers, Jim Silverwood of Marblehead, Jeff Silverwood of Florida, and Jerry (Greg Hartman) Silverwood of Kentucky; and sister, Georganna (Dan) Blevins of Hillard. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Josie and Terry.

Moneak was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School in 1982 and attended Owens State Community College, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Quality Assurance in 2013. She had worked the past six years at NOX, Fostoria, in quality control.

Moneak enjoyed crafting, especially crochet, cooking, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family. Moneak always had a smile on her face and never knew a stranger. Her family and friends will surely miss the light she brought to all of their lives.

Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, at Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830, with a time for sharing at 5 p.m. The family will then gather at Stacy's Place, Fostoria, for a continued celebration of Moneak's life.
