Mary Harrison Obituary

Mary Louise (Orne) Harrison

Mary Louise (Orne) Harrison, 97, of Longwood at Oakmont, a retirement community in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully Sunday July 13, 2025. Wife of 54 years to the late Dale E. Harrison, daughter of Stephen and Theresa Orne, all formerly of Fostoria, Ohio. Survived by sons, Stephen (Dana) of Holland, Michigan, Bradley (Jana) of Newburgh, Indiana, and Bruce (Diana) of Woodbridge, Virginia; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Hillsdale, Michigan, and a member of Chi Omega sorority. She had been an elder at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church since 1973 and was actively involved in her community. A member of International P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and served on the Board of Directors for Presbyterian Senior Care of Oakmont, and was Emeritus of the Longwood Board.

Memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, at Longwood at Oakmont, followed by a burial service for family only at noon Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Presbyterian Senior Care Network Benevolent Fund or Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church. Mary will be sorely missed and is at peace with her husband, Dale.

Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, is assisting with local arrangements.
