I knew Mrs. Boatman from her years teaching at St. Wendelin and going to school with her children Mark and Lisa.
Mary was a very caring and compassionate teacher who really loved all the children. I knew her daughter Lisa and grandson Zach who is friends with our Son. Mary was a very Dear person and will be missed.

I got to know Mary thru her daughter Lisa. I work with Lisa and became friends. I call Lisa MOMMA KISER. I only met Mary once. I was invited to Christmas dinner with Lisa, Mary and Erik at Hunans Garden. RIP Mary. Fly high with the angels. PRAYERS.

I met Mary through her son Eric who was a few years younger than myself. We both attended Fostoria High school in the 70s. After graduation Eric would ride his bike across town to my home and a group of us would watch movies and order pizza. Eric would fall asleep on my couch and he'd wake up around 3 or 4 in the morning stating he'd better get home as his mom would worry. He lived across town and there'd be 6 to 8 inches of snow on the ground. I'd pack his bike up and put it the bed of my truck and drive him home making sure he got into the house safe and sound. Mary always greeted me at the store and thanked me for taking Eric under my wing and making him feel loved, accepted and wanted. So very sorry for your families loss..
