Markie Lynn Collet

Markie Lynn Collet, 47, of McCutchenville, passed away in Toledo.

She was born Sept. 13, 1976, in Upper Sandusky, to Chris and Sandra (Barth) Payne.

Markie is survived by three daughters, Jaycee (Trent Smith) Collet of McCutchenville, Kaylee (Luka) Kaulitz of Marion, and Cadance Collet of McCutchenville; three grandchildren, Emilia and Atticus Kaulitz and Isabella Smith; father, Chris Payne of McCutchenville; sister, Amanda (Lloyd) Smith of Texas; grandmother, Bernice Payne of Upper Sandusky; aunts, Kim Barth and Nancy Alspach, both of Upper Sandusky; and uncles, Steve Payne of Sycamore and Ron Payne of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Payne; grandparents, Russell and Edna Barth and Wesley Payne; and aunt, Debra Payne.

Markie graduated from Mohawk High School in 1995. She enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially trips to North Carolina. Markie was an avid Ohio State fan. She loved spending time with her family, going to her daughter's sporting events, and especially their twirling. She loved helping others and she loved everyone as if they were her own family.

Markie's celebration of life gathering will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at Eagles Lodge 2184 in Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wigs for Kids and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
