Leona Clagg Obituary
Leona Faye Clagg, 95, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria. She was born February 26, 1931, in Artemis, Pennsylvania, to Melvin and Myrtle (Smith) Jay. She married Archie Clagg, July 1, 1950, in Fostoria, and he passed away October 2005.
She is survived by sons, Jeff (Patricia) Clagg of Fostoria and Gary (Paula) Clagg of Tiffin; daughter, Karen (Denny) Below of Powell; sisters, Leota Dieterle of West Millgrove and Ruth Ann Little of Fostoria; six grandchildren; and no great-grandchildren.
Leona retired from RCA in 1992 after 25 years of service. She was a 1949 graduate of Fostoria High School and a member of First Christian Church in Fostoria.
Her funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Mark Self officiating. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to Good Shepherd Home, Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
