John Cochran Obituary
John A. "Little John" Cochran Jr., 71, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1952, in Upper Sandusky, to John A. Sr. and Geraldine Cochran.
John's survivors include his stepbrothers, Greg (Cindy) O'Millian, Steve (Kim) O'Millian, Kevin (Laura) O'Millian, and Jody (Lisa) O'Millian; stepsister, Bonnie (Dan) Parsons; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stephen Cochran; and stepbrother, Ricky A. O'Millian.
John was a 1970 graduate of Mohawk High School and received his bachelor's degree at Kent State University in 1975. He retired from Seneca Medical after over 30 years. John was a member of Republic United Methodist Church, Tiffin Moose Lodge 846, Sons of AmVets Post 48, VFW Post 2858, and Sons of American Legion Post 169. He enjoyed being with friends, stained glass, home brewing, and flying and making kites. He was a 2008 recipient of Volunteer of the Year from City of Tiffin Park Board and 1995 Moose of the year from Tiffin Lodge 846.
Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-2424.
John's funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Charlene Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at St. Jacob's Cemetery, Republic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sigma Tau Gamma.
