Gerald Leitch Obituary
Gerald Lee Leitch, 73, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, at St. Catherine's Manor, Fostoria.
He was born May 6, 1950, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Estell Dwayne and Rosetta (Musselman) Leitch.
Gerald is survived by four children, Vickie (Andy) Thompson of Findlay, Nickie (Ron) Whitman of Fremont, Christina (Michael) Webb of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Vincent Leitch of Fostoria; grandchildren, Ashley, Joseph, Jessica, Danielle, Zachary, Brianne, Searea, and Kirsten; 22 great-grandchildren; and siblings, James (Linda) Leitch of Fostoria, Mike Leitch of Decatur, Michigan, Dave (Carla) Leitch of Elkhart, Indiana, Kevin (Susie) Leitch of Elkhart, Indiana, Mary (Sam) Misseri of Chesterland, and Janie (Randy) Farmer of Elkhart, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and great-grandson, Bray Bray.
Gerald was a 1968 graduate of Fostoria High School and worked at Fostoria Foundry. He was a 40-year life member of Fostoria Eagles and enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool, telling jokes, and spending time with family.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. Gerald's funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rev. Robin Kapostasy from Hope Lutheran Church presiding. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Fostoria Eagles Club or charity of the donor's choice.
