Genevieve M. "Jenny" Frankart

Genevieve M. "Jenny" Frankart, 79, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

She was born April 26, 1945, in Tiffin to the late Alfred A. and Luella M. (Fredritz) Zoeller. She married Gary J. Frankart on October 22, 1966. They shared 35 years of marriage together.

Surviving are three children, Rick (Cindy) Frankart, Findlay, Kimberly (Kevin) Kreais, Fostoria and Stacy (Bo) Holmes, Fostoria; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Tonya, Jessie, Megan, Adam, Dylan and Ella; brothers, Jim (Sandy) Zoeller, Dan (Holly) Zoeller, Charlie (Jenny) Zoeller and Ken (Rose) Zoeller; sisters, Joan Volny and Ruth (Paul) Platt.

She was also preceded by a sister, Mary Lou Schiro; brother, Richard "Butch" Zoeller; and two brothers-in-law, Norbert Volny and Charles Schiro.

Jenny worked at National City Bank for 10 years as a bank teller. She also worked in two jobs as an activity assistant and was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria. Jenny enjoyed tending to her beautiful rose bushes and flower gardens. She also enjoyed helping others and was very kind and compassionate. In prior years she loved to play cards, go camping and visit greenhouses. As she was older and became a grandparent she loved babysitting her grandchildren and enjoyed attending their grandparent's days at school. She also attended their music, band programs and sporting events. She truly loved her grandchildren. Whether she was having a tea party with them, baking cookies or swimming in the pool these times held a special place in her heart.

Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Thursday. March 13, 2025 at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830. Funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church. with the Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to Alzheimer's Association and SouthernCare Hospice in care of the funeral home.
