Elbert S. "Bud" Harris Jr.

Our fun-loving father, Bud, has peacefully passed away at age 83, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, to be with his beloved mother, Dorothy Enright, his precious granddaughter, Kira Norton, his little brother, Bobbie Harris, and our savior, the Lord Jesus.

Bud is survived by his wife, Yuja Mia; his daughters, Katie Benoit and Kim Norton; his sons-in-law, Jerry Benoit and Jack Norton III; his grandchildren, Alexis Swantack, Jack Norton IV, Dominic Benoit, JJ Swantack and Carsyn Benoit; his great-grandchildren, Sophia Swantack, Ava Swantack, Lyla Swantack, Reya Swantack, and Vienna Benoit. Bud is also survived by his sister, Janie and her husband, Bob Leonard; sisters, Mary Ann Harris and Christine Sandy Fead; brother-in-law, UKwang Chang; nephews, John Lee, Ben Lee, Kwon Lee, Calvin Lee, David Chang and Allen Leonard; nieces, Elizabeth (Beth) Freeman and Suzanne Chang; cousins, Bob Jurrus, Mark Jurrus, Jeff Jurrus, Janet Haase and Diane Williams; close friends, Steve Wood, Dean Mosier, Albert Welly and Nancy Baucke. He had many other family and friends whom he loved dearly, and we apologize if we did not get them all. Pallbearers, Jack Norton III, Jerry Benoit, Jack Norton IV, Dominic Benoit, JJ Swantack and Steve Woods. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin Street, Fostoria.
