Mary Goshe Obituary
Mary Janette Goshe, 96, of Fostoria, passed away at 4:52 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Independence House, Fostoria.
She was born September 17, 1929, in Wood County, Ohio, to the late Frank and Mary (Reinhart) Goshe.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, Susan (Ronald) Ellis, Perrysburg, Connie Johnson, Augusta, Georgia, Michael (Arlene) Steve, Fostoria and Robert Steve, Carey; great nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Eric) Trobaugh, Jillian (Alex) Banks, Nicholas (Tiffany) Steve and Tyler (Katlyn) Ellis; and great-great nieces and nephews, Jaiden, Dahlia Trobaugh, Everett, Colton, Turner Banks and Kenneth Ellis.
She was also preceded in death by siblings, Robert Goshe, Barbara Steve, Catherine "Jane" Goshe and Mary Joanne Albus.
Janette was a 1947 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon School and a lifelong, faithful member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church. She retired from Honeywell in 1986 after 30 years of service and had also worked at Gem Manufacturing, Bascom. She was a member of UAW Local No. 533.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830, where a Vigil will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Committal services and burial will follow at St. Wendelin Parish Cemetery.
Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
