Ruth A. Feisel

Ruth A. Feisel, 88, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

She was born February 10, 1938, in McCutchenville, to the late Earl and Leta (Beis) Bare. She married Robert G. Feisel, March 30, 1968, at Hope Lutheran Church in Fostoria, and he preceded her in death October 4, 2012.

Surviving are two children, Dr. Gary (Paula) Feisel of Texas and Leah Feisel of Fostoria; five grandchildren, Carly Feisel, Melissa Boyer, Mason Feisel, Robert Thiry and Kelsie Roberts; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three children, Wayne (Kathy) Feisel, Lin (Robert) Thiry and Sheila Bailey; and four siblings, Paul Bare, Mary Shedenhelm, Helen Leonard, and Earl Bare.

Ruth was a lifelong member of Hope Lutheran Church in Fostoria and was a volunteer with Fostoria Glass Gallery and American Red Cross. She previously owned her own fabric shop, worked as a hairdresser, and was a member of Business & Professional Women. Ruth enjoyed collecting glass, traveling and had a deep love for animals.

Memorial visitation is 10 a.m.- noon Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Hope Lutheran Church, 151 W. Center Street, Fostoria, where memorial service will take place at noon with Pastor Robin Kapostasy presiding. Following memorial service, there will be a funeral luncheon at the church.

Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to Hope Lutheran Church or Fostoria Glass Heritage Gallery in care of the funeral home.
