Lois A. Bihn, 86, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at The Willows at Tiffin.
She was born December 5, 1939, in Tiffin, to Louis and Marjorie (Elchert) Herbert. On April 20, 1968, she married David Bihn, and he preceded her in death November 15, 2022.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony David (Heather) Bihn of Lansing, Mchigan, and Thomas Joseph Bihn of Norwalk; brother-in-law, Terry Nesselhauf of Tiffin; a granddaughter, Emily; and close friend, Joyce Taylor-Freeze.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Herbert and James Herbert; and sisters, Joan Nesselhauf and Janet Herbert.
Lois was a 1957 graduate of Calvert High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at area nursing homes and doctors' offices. Lois was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Red Hat Society and Cousins' Club. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting afghans, traveling, card club, bingo, playing slots at the casino, and going on trips with Allen Eiry Senior Center.
Her Mass of Christian burial will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with family from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Nurse Honor Guard service will take place at 12:15 p.m.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
