Charles Victor McIntyre

Charles Victor McIntyre, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his home in Inverness, Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley (Vance) McIntyre; children, Nancy (Paul) Grover, Debora (David) Gressman, Micheal (Cathy) Eschenbrenner, Cathy (Lenny) Steinbeigle, Diane Claar, David (Jena) Eschenbrenner, Mathew (Sarah) McIntyre, Jessica Williams, and Jennifer Elmer; daughter-in-law, Tammy McIntyre; brothers, Joseph, Robert, Richard, and Larry; sisters, Norma Costilla and Julia "Julie" Klingshirn; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Justine; son, Douglas; sisters, Yvonne "Bonnie" Kisaberth and Katherine "Kate" Cooper; brother, Arthur McIntyre; and grandson, David Claar III.

Charles' hobbies included Ohio State and Cincinnati Bengals football, fishing, karaoke, Jams, Bingo calling, and dirt-track sprint-car racing.

Charles was a machinist at Webster Manufacturing and Hanson and Diversatool. He also delivered furniture at Decker's Furniture.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to Mass at the church. Burial will follow services Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
