Charles Ickes Obituary
Charles O. Ickes, 75, of Fostoria, passed away Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at The Toledo Hospital.
He was born Dec. 30, 1947, in Findlay, to Alfred and Betty (Wildman) Ickes. He married Peggy Ickes and they later divorced.
He is survived by his stepdaughters, Tina and Deborah Ickes; and numerous cousins.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dean Ickes; and sister, Mary German.
Charles was a graduate of Elmwood High School. He retired from Whirlpool in Findlay. Charles served in U.S. Army and was a member of Moose Lodge, American Legion, Eagles, and AmVets. He was an avid football and baseball fan.
Charles' funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will take place at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society.
