Barry Hickle Obituary

Barry R. Hickle

Barry R. Hickle, 73, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born August 11, 1952, in Fostoria, to James R. and Ethel (Keckler) Hickle. He married Karen Cook, and they later divorced.

He is survived by sons, Barry "Adam" Hickle and Nicholas (Heather Traucht) Hickle; sisters, Brenda (Willard) Hay and Beth (Michael) Cofer; grandchildren, Sadie Parker, Elijah and Briana Hickle; four great-grandchildren; and long-time friend, Jerry "Gibby" Gibson.

Barry is preceded in death by his parents and his significant other for many years, Catherine A. Schiltz.

Barry was a 1970 graduate of Fostoria High School and worked at Gray Printing in Fostoria. Barry enjoyed mushroom and coon hunting, golfing and fishing. He owned several properties in the area. He was a NASCAR fan and loved sitting around a fire with friends.

Graveside services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Fountain Cemetery Veterans Chapel, with Pastor Robin Kapostasy officiating. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Memorials can be made to Bridge Hospice.
