Timothy Luke Clouse

Timothy Luke Clouse, 67, of Carey, passed away suddenly Friday, May 16, 2025. He was born October 1, 1957, in Tiffin, the son of Luke and Carolyn (Mang) Clouse. Tim graduated from Hopewell-Loudon School in 1976, and while there was an avid trombone player. He was also very active in H-L Sheep Club for decades, first as a member and then as an advisor.

If you knew Tim, you know he must have liked change because he frequently had a different address, phone number, or job. One thing that didn't change was the love he had for his friends, his family, and Jesus Christ. Tim's joy came from being with others, whether it was making apple butter, playing games, or sitting around the campfire telling stories and jokes and laughing. He had such a contagious laugh that made you laugh just by hearing it. His favorite hobby was raising chickens and visiting with friends when they stopped to buy eggs.

Surviving are his siblings, Jim (Deb) Clouse, Linda Otte, Cathy (Steve) Painter, Lori (Mike) Huth, Mary Zeigler, and Phillip (Jill) Clouse; sister-in-law, Bernie Kirian; many nieces and nephews; and 43 chickens.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Denny Clouse; father, Luke Clouse; mother, Carolyn Clouse; nephews, Cody and Cheyenne Clouse; and brothers-in-law, Stephen Zeigler and Dave Otte.

In lieu of Mass or funeral visitation, please join us to celebrate Tim's life from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Evergreen Pavilion located in Meadowbrook Park, 5430 West Tiffin St., Bascom.
