Stephen Gosche Obituary
Stephen G. Gosche, 70, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at home, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born December 3, 1954, in Tiffin, the son of Gerald J. and Teresa (Mathern) Gosche. He married Jacqueline Mathias on March 21, 1998, at St. Mary's Church in Tiffin.
He will be missed by his wife, Jaci, his daughter, Blair (Justin) Frisco, his sister and brothers, MaryAnn (Todd Radabaugh) Loach of Findlay, Greg (Deb) Gosche of Carey, Jim (Deb) Gosche of Findlay, Jeff (Randy Thomas) Gosche of Guerneville, CA, and Jeremy (Shannon) Gosche of Evans, GA, brother-in-law, Jerry (Christine) Mathias of Thornloe, Ontario, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Steve was a 1973 graduate of Carey High School. He worked in the auto body field in Northwest Ohio for almost 30 years, and worked at FedEx Freight in Hagerstown, Maryland, for 10 years before retiring in 2022.
He was a member of St. Ann's Church in Hagerstown, MD, and a member of Tiffin Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, Carey.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, at Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay St., Carey, Ohio, 43316. Inurnment will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steve's honor to O.L.C. School in care of Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, 225 West Findlay Street, Carey, Ohio, 43316-1169.
