Sandra K. Fiedler

Sandra K. Fiedler, 84, of Temperance, Michigan, formerly of Fostoria, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Ebeid Hospice Center, Sylvania.

She was born July 24, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of the late Paul Barton and Alice "Virginia" (Miller) Haworth. She married George A. Fiedler, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are children, George "Curt" (Kuniko) Fiedler of Guam, Suzanne Theiss (James L. Norton) of Temperance, Michigan, and Geoffrey Paul (Natalie) Fiedler, of Munroe Falls; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one stepgranddaughter, and three stepgreat-grandchildren; and brothers, William D. "Bill" Haworth (Stephanie Abel) and Barry Paul (Catherine) Haworth.

Sandra gave selflessly and loved unconditionally. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education at BGSU, then worked as a pre-school and Head Start teacher for 20 years. She also taught bible studies and Christian education in schools. Sandra met her husband in West Berlin while she was serving as a volunteer through the Church of the Brethren, helping special needs children. She was a Head Start Home Visitor, and also worked at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria as a nurse's assistant for 20 years.

Sandra dedicated her life to the well-being and education of others, serving her community through teaching and altruistic acts.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2025, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria. A Life Celebration and tributes will begin at 2 p.m. Family and friends are invited to visit until 7 p.m.

Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria at a later date.

Memorial contribu-tions may be considered to American Cancer Society.
