Robert "Bob" Garrett Busack

Robert "Bob" Garrett Busack, 61, of rural Fostoria, passed away at 2 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at his home.

He was born Feb. 11, 1963, in Fostoria to Paul Robert Busack, who survives in Ottawa and Beatrice (Knettle) Busack, who survives in Fostoria. He married Stacy A. Ballreich Sept. 20, 2008, in Van Buren, and she survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are six children, Cecelia Ridgeway, Findlay, Aaron (Tina) Eatherton, Fostoria, Garrett (Kristin) Busack, Fremont, Paul (Samantha) Busack, Bettsville, Sarah Busack, Lindsey and Nicholas Busack, Fremont; four grandchildren; brother, Michael Busack, Fostoria; and sister, Christina Hayes, Fostoria.

He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Gale (Borer) Busack, in 1998.

Bob was a 1981 graduate of New Riegel High School. He operated the former B&B on 23, where he was a gifted mechanic and fabricator. He was a handyman, jack of all trades in later years and shared his knowledge to always help others. Bob was a very simple man, not materialistic and would help anyone, even a stranger. He was self-taught and was proud to teach his family welding techniques.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Bob's life will be from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830. A luncheon will immediately follow in the funeral home reception area.
