Ricardo Rodriguez

Ricardo Rodriguez, 54, of Risingsun, passed away Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at Toledo Hospital.

He was born March 14, 1969, in Toledo, to José and Ofilia (Campos) Rodriguez Sr. Ricardo married Juanieta (Clouser) Smothers in July, 2017.

Ricardo is survived by his loving wife, Juanieta; daughter, Destiny S. Rodriguez; stepchildren, Lucas, Dalton, Julia, and Sabrina; siblings, Rosendo (Lisa) Rodriguez, Miguel (Sandra) Rodriguez, Ralph (Kathy) Rodriguez, Yolanda Caplinger, Elida Rodriguez MacDonald, José Rodriguez Jr., Alfredo Gusman, and Daniel Gusman; stepgrandchildren, Thomas, Adean, Lucas, Lyllian, Carson, Conner, and Bailynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ricardo had many hobbies over the years including boxing and listening to any type of Mexican music. He had a passion for food of all kinds and will always be remembered for his silly sense of humor and dressing in costumes all year round.
