Rebecca Long Obituary
Rebecca "Becky" Long, 76, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, at her home.
She was born November 4, 1948, in Findlay to the late Alvin and Marilynn (Walsh) Grine Jr.
Surviving are three children, Frank Long Jr., Cincinnati, Derek (Kate) Long, Washington, and Heidi Long, Fostoria; six grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Hadley, Benicio, Anika, and Sammy; and two sisters, Laurie Lucas, Arcadia and Kathy Grine, Findlay.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Garry Grine; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Becky retired from Whirpool and worked at Mennel Milling and Findlay City Schools. Her passion was her family and children.
Memorial visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2025, at Arcadia Community Center.
In lieu of memorial contributions, Becky would request that you do an act of kindness for a child in her memory.

I knew Becky as a friend and as a neighbor when growing up south of Fostoria. She was so kind. She made quite an impression on my grandson, Devlin, when she helped him in early elementary school. He is now 20 and still thinks very highly of her. She will be missed by many. RIP, Becky!
