Patricia Saldausky Obituary

Patricia Kaye Saldausky

Patricia Kaye (Boyd) Saldausky passed away peacefully Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 11:45 a.m. with her daughter,

Bobbi, by her side. Patricia was an only child of Robert K. and Doris M Boyd. Born November 23, 1945, at Fostoria Hospital in Fostoria. She attended Longfellow Grade School, Lowell Jr. High School and graduated from Fostoria High School in 1963.

She also attended Stautzenberger College of Business in Toledo, where she graduated with a degree inaccounting. She also attended Owen's Technical School in Fremont to receive her real estate license. She also was an Ohio notary for several years. Patricia received her Ohio motor vehicle salesman license and held that for several years. While in junior high, she met and fell in love with the person she would be married to for 56 years. She married Daryl J. Saldausky. They married after he served four years in the US Navy. He was discharged in August 1964, and they were married February 1, 1965.

They had two daughters, Angela Kaye Adams of Fostoria and Roberta (Bobbi) Michelle Saldausky of Reno, Nevada; two grandchildren, David Lee Mundoff Jr. of Bloomdale and Shaylinn Marie (Mundoff) Lowery; two great-grandsons, Lennon David Mundoff of Findlay and Gabrial Michael Lawery of Fostoria.

Patty worked at Ford Motor Co, J.C. Penney, Jerry Chevy, Buick, and Olds, as well as the County Bank of Fostoria. By then, Daryl's businesses were growing, and she worked for all of them from 1974 to 2006. The whirlwind life changed in 2006 when all businesses were sold. Daryl was given four years to live, but no one knowing Daryl knew that wasn't long enough for them. He lived for 15 more years, which brought them both great happiness. They moved to Reno, Nevada, in 1986 during those 15 years. They traveled to San Francisco a lot and completely remodeled the house, both inside and outside, and did the landscaping. It was quite a showplace and still is.

Patty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Daryl; and her parents. There will be a celebration, but Patty requests no services. Any remembrance can be made to the donor's favorite charity. Patty was also an avid NASCAR fan.
