Michael Schlitt Obituary
Michael R. Schlitt, 63, of Attica, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at his residence.
Michael was born Jan. 14, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Edward E. Schlitt and Kathleen (Jost) Kirk.
Michael's survivors include his mother, Kathleen Kirk of Ashland; two sons, Justin Schlitt of Dayton and Matt Schlitt of Marion; one grandson; four brothers, Daniel (Sharon) Schlitt of Ashland, Edward (Amy) Schlitt of Danville, California, Peter Schlitt of Mansfield, Kevin (Erin) Schlitt of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, and his beloved Dora "Toby" Doty of Attica; stepdaughter, Caitlin (Jacob) Scarbury of Bloomville; and three stepgrandchildren, Lillian, Josiah, and Natalee Scarbury, all of Bloomville.
Michael was a retired carpenter and avid fan of The Ohio State football team and all Cleveland sports teams.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Edward Schlitt.
There will be no services at this time for Michael.
Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamilyfh.com.
