Mary R. (Omlor) Williams

Mary Roselyn (Omlor) Williams, 86, of Fostoria, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 4, 2025, at her home.

She was born August 3, 1939, in Tiffin, to William A. and Evelyn Catherine (Schroth) Omlor. She married Robert Eugene Williams, August 19, 1961, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tiffin, and he survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving is a daughter, Kimberly M. Williams, Fostoria; son, Todd (Jennifer) Williams, Alvada; brother, David (Susan) Omlor, Sandusky; sisters, Sylvia (James) Wade, Kansas, Barbara Ronski-Quaintance, Fremont, Cora (Steven) Hepp, Tiffin, Ruth Omlor, Tiffin and Janet (Bob) Barger, Tiffin; sisters-in-law, Mary Omlor and Nadine Omlor of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by brothers, John "Jack", Tom "CT" and James Omlor; sister, Pauline Scarr and infant sister, Carol Jane Omlor.

Mary was a 1957 graduate of Calvert High School, Tiffin, and a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and a former choir member. In 1970, Bob and Mary developed Williams Mobile Home Park, where Mary served as the bookkeeper. She had also been a cashier at Food Town, Fostoria. She was a former member of the Circle of Mercy and Red Hat Society.

Mary will be fondly remembered for gardening, love for animals and good home cooking, especially baking the best pies. But most of all, Mary dearly loved her family and will be greatly missed.

Visitation is from 3-6 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830, where a Vigil will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery. A funeral lunch will follow at St. Wendelin Parish Hall.

Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to St. Wendelin Church, Fostoria, Bascom Right To Life or Heartland Hospice.
