Mark A. Walter

Mark A. Walter, 83, of Oak Harbor, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at his home. He was born April 3, 1939, in Hopewell Twp., to Joseph and Lula (Feasel) Walter. He married Virginia Feindel and they later divorced. He then married Anna D. Crawford on Dec. 30, 1971, in Monroe, Michigan.

Surviving is his wife, Anna D. Walter of Fostoria; sons, Ken (Martha) Walter of Cleveland, Steven (Karen) Walter of Frankfort, Indiana, and Michael (Karen) Walter and Jason (Christina) Walter, both of Fostoria; grandchildren, Allison, Jenna, Sammantha, Justin (Elizabeth), Sarah, Victoria, Elizabeth, and Adeline; and great-grandchildren, Kinley, Kristopher, and Silas.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Joseph and Richard Walter.

Mark worked as a manufacturing manager for National Machinery in Tiffin and retired from Honeywell in Fostoria after 30 years of service. Mark was a graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and Tiffin University. He was a 4th degree member of K of C, and life-time member of Eagles, Moose, Elks, and United Sportsmen. He was also a member of American Legion. Mark enjoyed golfing, wintering in Florida, and golf cart rides and relaxing at the lake.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. Visitation will be private and burial will be at Fountain Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials can be made to Ohio Living Hospice.
