Marian Frances Geroski

Marian Frances Geroski was welcomed into God's loving embrace the morning of

December 31, 2022.

Marian was born October 11, 1936, to Andrew and Frances (Bishop) Kolbus in Cleveland. She is the younger sister to Andrew (Eve) Kolbus and the tag-along to he and his best friend growing up, Steven Paul Geroski III. She would grow up to date and eventually marry Steven August 30, 1958 in Cleveland. After living briefly and starting her family in Minot, North Dakota, they eventually settled in Fostoria, where they would raise their family of four children.

Marian is preceded in death by her loving husband, Steven Paul III, of 49 years; her eldest son Steven Paul IV; eldest daughter Lynn Swartzwelder; son-in-law David Swartzwelder; nephew Andrew Kolbus; and brother-in-law Frank (Rita) Sczafranski. She is survived by a son Matthew (Michelle) Geroski; a daughter Catherine (Joseph) Pozzuto; a daughter-in-law Cyndi; a brother Andrew (Eve) Kolbus; 10 grandchildren, Brett (Caitlin), Jeremy, Steven V (Danielle), Madison, Jordan (Tyler), Lauren (Justin), Matthew (Courtney), Joseph, Morgan (Max), Mia; and six-great grandchildren, Stella, Steven VI, Frank, Benji, Molly and Jensen.

Marian was a proud and active member of St. Wendelin Catholic Parish and Red Hat Ladies social group.

Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Friday January 6, 2023 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer, presiding. A funeral lunch will immediately follow in the parish hall. Burial will be at St. Wendelin Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Wendelin Church Choir in care of the funeral home.
