Marcia Kay Greene

Marcia Kay Greene, 81, of Appomattox, Virginia, died Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at her residence.

She was the wife of William Ira Greene.

Marcia was born Aug. 1, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late LeWanda Thompson McDonald and Lyle (Joe) McDonald. She grew up on a farm in a small town in Seneca County before moving to Fostoria and graduating from Fostoria High School where she met her future husband of 58 years, Bill Greene.

She is survived by two children, Kyle Jameson Greene and Holly Lyn Greene; and three grandchildren, Gabriel Jameson Greene, Gloria Nichole Lopez, and Christine Connor Kevan.

In lieu of flowers, financial contributions may be sent to Liberty Chapel Baptist Church, Food Pantry and Community Outreach, 4559 Liberty Chapel Rd., Appomattox, Virginia, 24522.
