Lester Arnold Obituary
Lester C. Arnold, 77, of Fostoria, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Toledo Hospital.
He was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Letcher County, Kentucky, to Ray and Ruby (Williams) Arnold. He married Connie Kline on June 21, 1969, in Ravenna.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Arnold of Fostoria; children, Amy (Jeff) Blair of Sunbury, and Jennifer (Allen) Ramsey and Jeff Arnold, both of Findlay; and grandchildren, Anthony, Ashtyn, Alec, Aric, Megan, Justin, Aiden, and Mason.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Howard Arnold; and an infant sister.
He retired from American Axel & Tire as an Industrial Engineer. Lester was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the special forces division of U.S. Marine Corps. He was a 1964 graduate of Streetsboro High School and earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from Akron University and master's degree in business administration from University of Dayton. Lester was a member of Fostoria Masonic Lodge #288 & Fostoria American Legion. He collected trains and antique cars. He also had his pilot's license and loved to fly.
Lester's funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. James Sharrett officiating. Military honors will be performed by Fostoria United Veterans. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to charity of the donor's choice.

I extend my deepest condolences to Connie and all of Les's children, grandchildren and other family members and friends.
Les and I worked together in the Industrial Engineering Department at Atlas Crankshaft for several years and I've always considered him a friend. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. Rest in peace friend. MaryBeth Bott
