Laurie Meyers Obituary
Laurie Ann Meyers, 62, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born Sept. 13, 1961, in Denver, Colorado, to Arthur and Nancy (Esmonde) Meyers. She married Paul Taylor and they later divorced.
She is survived by her parents, Arthur and Nancy Meyers of Tiffin; daughter, Abigail Taylor of Fostoria; sons, Brett and Grant Taylor, both of Fostoria; grandchildren, Oliver Taylor and Ellie Sherman; stepbrother, Terry (Beth) Meyers of Norwalk; and stepsister, Gail (Daren) Behrendsen of Sandusky.
Laurie attended First Church of the Nazarene, Fostoria, and was a 1979 graduate of Fostoria High School. She was a member of Fostoria Eagle Club. She loved spending time and attending sporting events of her children and grandchildren.
Laurie's funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Shane Sevy officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Tiffin. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Foundation or First Church of the Nazarene.

I´m so sorry to hear of Laurie´s passing. And I am sad I heard about this so late. Art and Nancy please know I would have come to the visitation had I known. I have so many good memories of my times with Laurie. We did have a good friendship and I hate that I lost touch after I moved. But I´ll always remember her great laugh!

My sincere condolences to Laurie's family and friends.
I met Laurie while working at ATLAS. She was always friendly and upbeat.
After ATLAS closed we kept in touch for a while; she always had a kind word. With her passing it leave a void that will be had to fill.
Miss you Laurie. Rest easy now.

I remember meeting Laurie in elementary school. The first time we had a sleepover at her house, we ate so much candy that my dad had to pick me up and take me home. It was still fun. I wish we had stayed in touch.
