Judy L. Storey

Judy L. Storey, 69, of Fostoria, passed away Tuesday Aug. 2, 2022, at her home.

She was born March 10, 1953, in Fostoria, to the late Earl Dean and Olive (Brant) Barlekamp. She married Thomas L. Storey on Feb. 19, 1972, and he preceded her in death Aug. 19, 2015.

Surviving are daughters, Amy L. Walters of Savannah, Georgia, and Teresa L. (Jeremy) Wilson of Findlay; grandchildren, Jacob L. Walters, Caleb J. Walters, and Cole Thomas Wilson; siblings, Susan Grace of Dothan, Alabama, David Barlekamp of Denton, North Carolina, and Carol Matthews of Asheboro, North Carolina. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Schwarz; and brother, Doyle Dean Barlekamp.

Judy retired as a LPN from Fostoria Community Hospital after 36 years of service. She also worked at St. Catherine's Nursing Home, Fostoria. Judy graduated from Fostoria High School in 1971 and then Bowling Green School of Nursing.

Visitation is 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. Graveside services will then take place at 1 p.m. at Veteran's Memorial Chapel of Fountain Cemetery. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery.
