Jack Clagg Obituary
Jack L. Clagg, 81, of Fostoria, passed away at 7:13 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at ProMedica Fostoria Hospital, Fostoria.
He was born Feb. 8, 1941, in Risingsun, to Leslie and Rosella (Durst) Clagg.
Jack was a graduate of Fostoria High School. He then went on to proudly and honorably serve his country in U.S. Marine Corps, having served three tours in Vietnam and retiring after 21 years. He was a supervisor for Cooper Tire, retiring after 20 years of service.
Jack loved his family and the game of golf.
Jack is survived by three sons, Richard (Debra) Clagg of North Baltimore, Randolph (Velma) Clagg of Findlay, and Steven (April) Clagg of Fostoria; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Denny (Kerry) Ferguson of Ada, and Stephen Clagg of Bettsville; and sister-in-law, Jane Clagg of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie; mother, Rosella Ferguson; beloved wife of 58 years, Margaret A. Clagg; and brothers, Forest "Frosty" Clagg and Michael Ferguson.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at MANN-HARE-HOENING Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria. Jack's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Jack's grandson, Jacob Clagg, presiding.
Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, with U.S. Marine Corps military honors.
