Gary Weimerskirch Obituary

Gary M. Weimerskirch

Gary M. Weimerskirch, 75, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, at Stein Hospice of Western Reserve, Sandusky. He was born March 18, 1949, in Fostoria to Ralph and Helen (Shook) Weimerskirch.

He is survived by his partner of 53 years, Betsy Hancock of Fostoria; brothers, Jim (Claudia) Weimerskirch, Steve (Marianne) Weimerskirch and Tim (Jackie) Weimerskirch; and sister, Karen Matthews.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ralph and Dave Weimerskirch; and sister, Julie Kavanagh.

Gary was the owner and operator of Tri-County Motors in Fostoria. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Wendelin High School and Bowling State University. Gary was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at Fountain Cemetery Veterans Chapel with Military Honors performed by United Veterans of Fostoria. Private burial will take place at St. Wendelin Cemetery, Fostoria.

Memorials can be made to Stein Hospice of Western Reserve.
