Florence Stevenson Obituary
Florence E. Stevenson, 94, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at The Willows at Tiffin.
She was born June 17, 1930, in Wyandot County to the late James Paul and Agnes Marie (Lytle) Fenstermaker. She married Eugene Paul Stevenson on November 21, 1954, in Vanlue, and he preceded her in death November 9, 2006.
Surviving are three children, Cindy (Layman) Kennedy, Mechanicsburg, PA, Michele Stevenson, Fostoria and Terry Stevenson, Fostoria; daughters-in-law, Deb Stevenson, Findlay and Dawn Abell, Findlay; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Jo Schwepe, Fostoria.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Stevenson; and a brother, Charles Fenstermaker.
Florence was a 1950 graduate of Mt. Blanchard High School, retired from Whirlpool in Findlay and was a member of Scott Trinity United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Fostoria Eagles Club. Florence loved going to church and attending all of her great-grandchildren's events. She will be remembered for her homemade ice cream, homemade bread, and homemade cookies that she lovingly made for her grandchildren.
Visitation is 11-1 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 407 N. Countyline Street, Fostoria, where the funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. with Dr. Keith Norwalk, presiding. Following the funeral service, there will be a luncheon at Scott Trinity United Methodist Church located at 6076 County Road 11, Risingsun, Ohio 43457. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia at a later date.
Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to Scott Trinity United Methodist Church.

Florence was such a beautiful example of a godly woman. Always had such a sweet disposition that brought calm and peace in every situation. Deb and I were privileged to serve as her and Gene´s pastor in Fostoria for ten years, and we could never express what a
