Evelyn Marie Floriana

Evelyn M. Floriana, 89, of Fostoria, and formerly of Oak Harbor, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, in Fremont, Ohio.

She was born Jan. 3, 1933, in Green Springs, to Oden and Pearl (Leppard) Bagley. She married Leonard Floriana on Nov. 10, 1951, in Fremont, and he passed away April 15, 1995.

Evelyn is survived by her sons, Denver Floriana of Fremont and Jeff (Candy) Floriana of Fostoria; eight grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Leonard Bagley; and sisters, Geraldine Williams and Clara Coleman.

Evelyn retired from Peter Eckrich & son in Fremont. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Lunch Group and their Prayer Shawls Circle in Fremont. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. There wasn't a baby born within a 50-mile radius that didn't receive a blanket from her.

Evelyn's funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Matthew Wheeler officiating. Burial will be at Locust Point Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or Heartland Hospice.
