Edith Nelson Obituary
Edith M. Nelson, 78, of Bloomville, passed away Thursday morning, Feb. 9, 2023, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born Dec. 24, 1944, in Tiffin, to Howard and Evelyn (Whales) Myers.
Edith's survivors include her son, John (Valerie) Nelson of Bloomville; daughters, Becky Floyd and Teresa Whorley, both of Virginia; brothers, Les Myers of Tiffin, Bill (Marlene) Beckford of Indiana, and Howard "Butch" Myers of Tiffin; sisters, Maryann (Ed) Haines of Georgia, Karen Myers of Bloomville, and Cathy Myers of Fostoria; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jerry Nelson.
Edith worked in the dietary department at Elmwood at the Shawhan and retired a few years ago. She was a member of Tiffin Eagles #402, enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo, and loved her cat, Callie.
There will not be a funeral.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.

I miss you so much Nanny, and I know Shaela would have been proud to call you grandma. I'm glad I got to have a grandmother like you. I love you Nanny and will miss and think about you everyday. Now rest Nanny and tell Grandma and grandpa I miss them and always love them.R.I.P
