Debbie L. McDonald

Debbie L. McDonald, 70, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

She was born March 23, 1955, in Fostoria to the late Robert and JoAnn (Hill) Hershey. She married Alga W. "Augie" McDonald on June 25, 1977, at High Street Methodist Church in Fostoria, and he preceded her in death May 31, 2009.

Being blind, Debbie was an extraordinary woman of resilience. A special thanks to Steve Schalk, who has been a very important person in her life.

Committal service is 11 a.m. hursday, March 27, 2025, at Veteran's Memorial Chapel of Fountain Cemetery with the Rev. James Sharrett, presiding. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, where she will be reunited with her husband Augie.

Arrangements are being handled by HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830.
