Cathy L. Harriman

Cathy L. Harriman, 72, of Fostoria, passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.

She was born Feb. 20, 1950, in Fostoria, to the late Curtis Van and Alma Marie (Long) Moon. She married John Clifford Harriman on Nov. 3, 1969, in Monroe, Michigan, and he preceded her in death Feb. 6, 2011.

Cathy is survived by two children, John C. (Tammy) Harriman of Sandusky and Sarah Harriman of Sandusky; grandson, Johnathon Harriman; brother, Terry Moon of Tiffin; and sister, Becky Adamson of Springfield.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Carol; and brother, Fred.

Cathy was a homemaker and 1968 graduate of Lakota High School. She was a former member of Encounter Church and currently a member of New Life Family Worship, Fostoria. She was a member of the Lifelong Friends of the Library, Fostoria Rail Preservation Society, Fostoria Senior Center, past president of Fostoria Golden Sunset Grandmothers Club, and participated in Relay for Life each year. Cathy also enjoyed reading, playing cards, and traveling.

Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline Street, Fostoria. Cathy's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at the funeral home with Pastor Wyatt Foster presiding. Burial will follow at Bradner Cemetery.
