Arnoldo Escobar Obituary
Arnoldo Escobar Sr., 70, of Fostoria, passed away at 8:53 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2023, at St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio.
He was born May 12, 1953, in San Carlos, Texas, to Raymondo and Octavia (Maldonado) Escobar. He married Herlinda Campos on Dec. 9, 1972, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church and she preceded him in death Feb. 1, 2014.
Arnoldo is survived by his children, Priscilla Flores, Arnoldo Jr., Ricardo, and Rene Escobar, all of Toledo; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Kelly, Mary, and Theresa; and brothers, Renaldo, Roy, and Lionel.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Freddie and Jamie.
Arnoldo had owned Industrial Plaster Molds of Fostoria and was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023, at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.
Mass of Christian burial will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, with the Very Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
