Skylar Briane Roberts

Skylar Briane Roberts, 16, of Bradner, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in Ottawa County.

She was born June 13, 2006, in Bowling Green, to Brian and Tiffany (Cook) Roberts.

She is survived by her parents, Brian and Tiffany (Cook) Roberts; three brothers, Dakota, Easton, and Cooper Roberts; grandfather, Roger Cook; grandmother, Charise Risner; two uncles, Fred (Teresa) Eickmann and Karl Eickmann; seven aunts, Teri Sue (Greg) Goodman, Lisa (Mike) Mitchell, Carolee (Sue) Eickmann, Amanda (Jason) Pearce, Haley (Gary) Holland, Danielle Cook, and Patience (Jeff) Bauer; and cousins, Devin, Destinee, Havanna, Carter, Sahara, Mayleigh, Wesley, Paisley, Riley, Melissa, Chad, Miranda, Monica, Dustin, Lucas, Tiffani, Laura Beth, Holly, Valentina, Max, and Karl Jr.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Meagan Cook; uncles, Garry and Mike Roberts; grandmother, Mary Lou Roberts; grandfathers, Keith Roberts and Al Risner; and great-grandparents, Harley (Minnie) Roberts, Paul (Elenor) Myers, Eugene and Dorothy Cook, and David and Barbara Keckler.

Skylar was a junior at Eastwood High School and was involved in FFA and softball. Skylar played travel ball with Freedom Elite. She was a member of Basic Truth Church and recently joined Wood County Explorer Program. She enjoyed horseback riding and 4-wheeling.

Skylar's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2023, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Jim Baney officiating. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bradner Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be taken to support the Skylar Robert's Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Class of 2024.

I am a loss for words. From watching her grow up while a youngster at the Church on 53 I can remember the live she had for her Dad. She would run around at practice and we all played and kept her occupied. She was the apple of her Mom and Dads eye and grew up so fast. I am sure gonna miss seeing her grow up and my heart felt condolences to her entire family. Tiffany and Brian I can´t imagine what you are going through but during this time rely on our Heavenly Father to comfort you all! We love you

Little precious Skylar stole my heart on the stage at the church on 53. She used to run up on stage during our practice, and she´d go up to her daddy´s drum set .. waiting for him.. we´d play little games to keep her occupied during practice. She rode our pony here at the house. No doubt she loved the horses! She was very special .. I can´t process that she´s gone. Only God can possibly begin to comfort and give strength needed during this sad time. My heart is sad. Skylar was a precious young girl that was very loved. God has her now.. He will take good care of her until we all see her again .
