Shirley Feasel Obituary
Shirley A. Feasel, 88, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025, surrounded by her family and close friend, Belah Bell, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky. She was born August 14, 1936, in Sycamore to Ralph and Alice (Dunlap) Hannum. She married Howard Feasel on June 18, 1954, and he died April 5, 2020.
Surviving are children, Becky (George) Solander, Sycamore, Jerry (Carla) Feasel, Byesville, and Jeff (Linda Paxton) Feasel, Tucson, Arizona. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Darcy (Patrick) Zimmerman, Sycamore, Jenese (Josh) Ekleberry, Sycamore, Natalie (Danny Leeth) Fleming, Sycamore, Stefanie (Larry) Hushour, rural Sycamore, and Janelle (Codee) Morris, Dunkirk; plus 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Lundy; and two brothers, Don and Jack Hannum.
Shirley worked as a Wyandot County Treasurer's Office clerk for many years. She was a 1954 graduate of Sycamore High School. For hobbies, Shirley bowled for many years at Bowlmor Lanes, Sycamore, and many other bowling alleys in the area. She loved to take bus trips to casinos, and she and Howard loved to travel, mainly going west to see family and friends.
Funeral services for Shirley will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with granddaughter Darcy Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, prior to funeral service.
