Ruth Kiser Obituary
Ruth Ann Kiser, 69, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
She was born Aug. 30, 1954, in Fostoria, to Howard Kiser and Carolyn King.
She is survived by her parents, William and Carolyn King of Fostoria; sons, John Allen (Jessica) Redford of Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Jeremy Michael (Tracy) Redford of Elmore, and Joshua Aaron (Heather) Redford of Wayne; daughter, Jennifer Meghan (Roy) Carnahan of Fostoria; brother, Vernon (Candy) Kiser of Fostoria; sisters, Carol (Mark) Jurrus of Fostoria and Judi (Theron) Travis of Risingsun; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her birth father, Howard Kiser; brother, James Kevin Kiser; and granddaughter, Cassandra Redford.
Ruth worked as a nurse's aide at Good Shepherd and was a graduate of Fostoria High School. She was a member of Encounter Church. Ruth loved spending her time with her family and nothing meant more to her than her grandchildren.
Ruth's funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Jerry Copeland officiating. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society.

Ruth was always the sweetest person she could always make me smile and laugh she was definitely one of a kind and had a heart of gold I will always hold her dear to my heart my thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends
