Richard E. Crawford

Richard E. Crawford, 72, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at his home.

He was born Dec. 10, 1951, in Fremont, to Clifford and Etta (Donaldson) Crawford.

He is survived by his brother, Ivan (Deb) Crawford of Kansas; half-sisters, Marilyn Thompson and Barb Forrester; four nephews including special nephews, Brian (Jennifer) and Joel (Melinda) Crawford; and one niece.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Gary Crawford.

Richard was a farmer and retired from Toledo Machine Plant. He was a graduate of Lakota High School. Richard especially loved guns and farming.

Richard's funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Mark Self officiating. Burial will be at Weaver Cemetery, Bloomdale, at a later date. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to a humane society of the donor's choice.
