Patricia Tuttle Obituary

Patricia Luella "Pat" (King) Tuttle

Patricia Luella "Pat" King Tuttle, Fostoria, departed this earth on wings of grace to meet her Savior Sunday, March 1, 2026, while surrounded by her loved ones. She was born the 9th of October 1939, to Charles and Margaret Schafer King Sr. in Tiffin. She married Ronald Tuttle, the love of her life, the 10th of October 1959, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 66 years, Ron Tuttle, with whom she enjoyed many wonderful years after retirement. Surviving is their son, Steven (Rhonda Fairchild) Tuttle of rural Sycamore; grandson, Joseph Tuttle of rural Sycamore; and great-grandson, Landon Tuttle of Fostoria. Also surviving is her brother, Stewart (Janet) King; sister, Marlene Lehner; and sisters-in-law, Donna June King and Marie King, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other family members. Family was one of the most important things in Pat's life. She especially followed the Lord's commandment about loving and guiding the little children, who were always her favorites, even after they grew up. Pat and Ron were chosen to be Godparents to the children of many relatives and friends because their faith was always the most important belief in their lives.

Pat was predeceased by her grandson, Micheal Tuttle, in December 2000; her parents, Charles and Margaret Schafer King Sr.; siblings, Charles F. King Jr., John J. King, Geraldine (nicknamed Jeri, husband Thomas) King McLaughlin, Robert Louis (nicknamed Stevie) King, and Michael J. King.

Pat graduated from Arcadia High School in 1957. She was a generous person who served on numerous committees, helped with Heritage Day fund-raising festivals, and helped with funeral dinners at St. Wendelin Catholic Church. Pat retired from 5/3 Bank, Fostoria, after many years of service. She made numerous long-standing friendships during her many years in banking in Fostoria. Pat volunteered her time for the Cancer Foundation and United Way. She volunteered at her local Board of Elections during election time.

There will be no visitation. Pat will be cremated with interment beside her grandson at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, at a future date. Hoening & Son Funeral Home, Fostoria, is in charge of all arrangements.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of St. Catherine's Manor and Good Shepherd Home for their care. The family appreciates the compassionate care Pat received from the Hospice workers. The family would also like to thank Marcy for her excellent care while Pat was able to be at home.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice or a children's hospital for cancer research in Pat's name.
