Norman Wheeler Obituary
Norman Robert "Bobby" Wheeler Sr., 65, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital.
He was born August 15, 1960, in Toledo, to the late Robert and Mary (Garner) Wheeler. He married Jayne Kays, December 20, 1979, and she preceded him in death December 21, 2015.
Surviving are three sons, Jason (Crystal) Wheeler, Fostoria, Kenny Wheeler, Fostoria and Norman Wheeler Jr., North Baltimore; grandchildren, Aubrey, Breanna (Dakota), Harley, Kiean, Dakota, Shylynn and Alijah; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol McAfee, Fostoria and Patricia Bailey, Fostoria; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Zeplin.
Bobby enjoyed working on cars, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Praise Chapel in Cygnet.
Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026, at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at the funeral home with his son, Norman Wheeler Jr., presiding. Burial will follow at Quinshan Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
