Nancy L. Gillian

Nancy L. Gillian, 79, of Portage, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023.

She was born April 28, 1944, in Bowling Green, to Freeman and Mary (Miner) June. She married Lynn Gillian on Sept. 1, 1963, and he survives in Portage.

Nancy worked as a mortgage administrator at Key Bank for many years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Portage. Nancy enjoyed planting flowers in her yard and maintaining the landscape. She was an excellent cook and always enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. In fact, her grandchildren are now debating her "top 10 dishes" and they're having a really hard time narrowing it down! Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved attending all of their sporting events (she always showed up with her lawn chair and drinks for her "players"!) and activities and was extremely proud of them and their accomplishments. She was truly "the best of the best" and will be dearly missed.

Along with her husband of nearly 60 years, Lynn, Nancy is survived by her children, Greg (Meghan) Gillian of Fostoria and Amy (Todd) Zechman of Findlay; brother, Jim (Darlene) June of Upper Sandusky; grandchildren, Joey, Anthony, and Chase Munoz and Derek, Alec, and Bo Gillian; and great-grandchildren, Bela, AJ, Ramona, Gabbie, Max, Paisley, Elliott, Emmy Jo, Luciana, and Bennett.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Wednesday June 21, 2023, at Christ United Methodist Church, 301 W. Main St., Portage, Ohio, 43451. Nancy's funeral will be 12 p.m. Wednesday at the church with Pastor Rosanne Kalinowski officiating. Interment will follow at Portage Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
